Who We Are
Established in 2025, the Abington Township Police Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to supporting the men and women of the Abington Township Police Department. The Foundation was created by community members who share a common goal — to strengthen the relationship between law enforcement and the residents they serve, while ensuring our officers have the tools and support they need to protect and serve effectively.
Mission
The Abington Police Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to supporting officer training and providing the necessary equipment and technology to ensure officer safety and wellness while recognizing their contributions to the community. Additionally, the foundation aims to promote community engagement and advocacy, ultimately making Abington Township a safer place to live and work.
What We Do
Through donations, grants, and partnerships, the Foundation funds initiatives that go beyond the department’s standard operating budget, including:
